Forty55 in Marina del Rey

Turning this drab little cardio room into a happy space with a nice bright abstract cityscape of Silicon Beach/LA. I really liked this color pallet. My favorite feature is the half power symbol reflecting in the mirror to make a whole. I now have intimate knowledge of Joshua Trees and Palm Trees.

The fan made the paint dry too quickly, so I had to turn it off which also turned off one row of lights. It was like painting in a creepy sci-fi episode, when you want someone to just reach over there and flip on the light switch...

Thank yous to Out-fit for the commission. Lisa P. for working with me. Pete Cross always, and this time for a little OT weekend painting spree. Olga S. for late night painting assists.

E11even Lofts: Maps + Murals = my perfect projecto

The remodeling of E11even Lofts' lobby designed by Studio 11 Design included this very radical concrete wall map.
Nights spent with the security team and the hoards of dog walkers are the cornerstone of the project.

The texture of the concrete was really nice to work with. And everyone walking by all say saying, oh my god you are so patient. So Apparently I'm patient.
Thanks kind sir for stopping to smell the roses.
